Grand Durmaz Hotel

I always stay there, it's the perfect place for me, the staff are very helpful specifically Sercan and the nice reception ladies, this place is like home away from home

There are always various comments that depend on personal perspectives and previous experiences, but certain points still need to be considered.- The location is convenient, with easy access to the tram to Sultanahmet, Eminönü, and even Galata Tower, as well as a bus to Taksim. However, there aren't many good shopping centers nearby; Taksim offers many more options.- The place is very clean, without a doubt.- The staff is friendly and does their best to assist you, especially the cleaning staff member, Heirolldin.- The breakfast is good and fresh.

- The breakfast was repetitive over the five days, with only one or two different items, which was disappointing—especially the hot buffet.- There is no coffee shop, and the lobby is small, making it an uninviting space for families to spend time together.- Don't rely on the sauna and spa, as they are quite separate from the hotel and come with a high additional charge.- Dont reserve economy room which is smaller than small

The staff were very friendly i visited them since 2017 always one of best hotels in laleli with very friendly staff in reception

The breakfast food was less than before ,i hope they serve like before

The staff are great really helpful, and the location is brilliant as a base to explore Istanbul with the tram stop right on the doorstep. Hotel was clean and beds were very comfortable. For such a central location there was also very little noise.

Could have done with an extra pillow, but that's a minor issue.

The location is fantastic — right next to Aksaray station, with easy access to currency exchange, markets, SIM card shops, restaurants, and many other conveniences.The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.A special thanks to Serkan and Alper — we truly couldn’t thank them enough!

It would be great to offer more variety in the breakfast buffet, especially for long-term guests, by changing some of the dishes on a daily basis.

Location near by metro only 100mtr .service is amazing thanks sarkan and mina for great support

Additional charge for kid since our room was triple but we are four persons some hotel is free

This hotel is perfect, I have been going there for years, the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Mr. Sercan, I tried several hotels in Istanbul and every time I go back to them because they are the best I would like to thank them for everything and look forward to seeing you next time

Stuff very nice and very friendly . Always ready to help . Amazing location, very close to everything. Also as requested had a good view on a mosque.

Room very old specially bathroom. Also , stuff not cleaning rooms everyday and after cleaning still a lot of dust.

I would like to thanks all staff in hotel special thanks to (Serkaw,alper,Tolga and beyza)Was so friendly and helpful. I don't have any bad comment at all my vacation was amazing and hotels very near to everywhere I went ,metro and taxi point was only 2 minutes from my accommodation place .

Nothing at all but I will only suggest to change the variety of breakfast, was so delicious but they do only have two types of breakfast menue hope to get at lest 4 types so we could enjoy more in next tripe

The hotel was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Mr. Alper and Mr.Serkan. They help me by give one hour after time check out. The breakfast was wonderful and the workers were so nice. The site of the hotel is in the center and everything is around.

The only thing confused us that the airport driver cannot reach the hotel easily because the street were closed

He responsed to our needed ( Iron, Toilet maintenanced, Bed Sheets changed)The best experience during our 3 nights stayed in GRAND DURMAZ HOTEL.. Hopefully will come back soon in 2025. The reception, kitchen and cleaning staff were really friendly and polite. Serkan from the reception was extremely polite, friendly and always willing to help when we needed directions. Breakfast was pretty nice a decent spread of items to eat timings was reasonable too 7-10am.

The room wasn’t the cleanest, nor was the layout of the room very spacious, very tight walking space in the room. Toilet sink was quite difficult to use as the tap would splash the water out of the sink and the hairdryer was in your way so you would struggle to wash your face in the mornings or even brush your teeth. Also I didn’t know the hotel was smoking friendly this wasn’t pleasant at all. Another guest was smoking all night long, every night and the smoke fumes would travel around the entire floor under the door entering every room making it very difficult to sleep at night even with the window open or AC turned on.

We were traveling with car. When I arrived near the apartment I went to the hotel and the bellboy Tolga was very nice. He went outside with me and helped me park the car and with the luggage. Onur was the receptionist and he was very helpful with his good English and tour guiding.

The room was small but compact.

The hotel was located near the Topkapi palace, walking distance, and facilities were great. I found the front of desk service was exceptional, especially Vedat and Onur who provided great service, they went out their way to make my stay comfortable. Thank you both. I will be differently be looking to stay at the Grand Durmaz Hotel on my next visit to Istanbul.

Good location, easy to get around the city, Serkan Najdet the receptionist is very kind and helpful, he made our stay pleasant.

The staff were super helpful and welcoming. The bus/train are literally outside of the hotel so easy to move around.

There weren't many restaurant style options but there are many shops (the workers of the shops do pester you when simply walking pass).
